After upgrading the zpools and adding some more disks to the pool I initiated a zpool scrub and was rewarded with an immediate zfs lockup. I switched to my backup head, killed and restarted the scrub and poof- lockup. Anyone have any ideas why a scrub would lockup my pool? The system itself, and the root pool have no problems.
