This has happened to me several times now, I'm confused as to why...

This one particular drive, and its always the same drive, randomly shows up as
being removed from the pool. I have to export and import the pool in order to
have this disk seen again and for re-silvering to reoccur. When this last
happened I shared some of the logs and nothing of relevance was found as a
possible cause of this.

I'd like to try this again, and I'd love to hear if you have any ideas as to
what might be causing this. Is RAM starvation a possible cause? Hardware
problem? I'm not so sure about the RAM starvation because that wouldn't explain
the fact that it's constantly the same drive, right?

Should I think about perhaps checking on the health of that drive? How can I do
so in Solaris? When I built the system I did a smartctl run through of the
drive while booted into a Linux based OS, because as I understood it there was
no way to do a smart test of a SATA drive in Solaris? Anything I can try?

If you have any things you'd like me to try, I'm yours, I'd love to solve this
problem... Unfortunately, it's not reproducible on demand so this thread may
have to stay open for a while in order to confirm the solving of this problem.
It seems like the drive will stay online for about a week or so before I have
to do my export/import routine.

Thanks in advance for your help and patience with me on this :)
