I think Cindy and I interpreted the question differently. If you want the zpool inside a file to stay mounted while the system is running, and come up again after reboot, then I think she's right. You're running into that bug. If you want to dismount your zpool, for the sake of backing it up to tape or something like that ... and then you're seeing this error on reboot, I think you need to export your filesystem before you do your backups or reboot.
