Hi Simon, they are the new revision. I got the impression as well that the complaints you reported were mainly related to embedded Linux systems probably running LVM / mda. (thecus, Qnap, ....) Other reports I had seen related to typical HW raids. I don't think the situation is comparable to ZFS. I have also followed some TLER related threads here. I am not sure if there was ever a clear assertion if consumer drive related Error correction will affect a ZFS pool or not. Statistically we should have a lot of "restrictive TLER settings helped me to solve my ZFS pool issues" success reports here, if it were. That all rather points to singular issues with firmware bugs or similar than to a systematic issue, doesn't it?
