It looks like Intel has begun to ship a similar (same ??) product as
part number:

model name: Intel X25-V  (V = value)

It's not clear if this version has half the controller channels or
not.  The tech documentation link appears to be "broken" for now.

PS: Note my earlier comment that newegg.com appears to be selling
Intel SSDs at premium pricing levels.
