Ok, When searching for how to do that, I see that it requires a modification to /etc/system.
I'm thinking I'll limit it to 1GB, so the entry (which must be in hex) appears to be: set zfs:zfs_arc_max = 0x40000000 Then I'll reboot the server and try the import again.
