That is indeed quite nice. I was hoping to be able to use ZIL and L2ARC in a hybrid storage pool with FreeBSD 8.0, but FreeNAS just commited suicide (went Linux) http://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/freenas/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3966 This is highly unfortunate, since a fork is arbitrarily improbable, and leaves me with with just the options of NexentaStor, OpenSolaris or FreeBSD at command line level, or a random Linux NAS with btrfs (when it will go production eventually, if ever).
