Of course create/mkdir would make it into the eventual implementation

I'm certainly still willing to sponsor the ARC case and to do codereview
for you. Once you are ready please send out a proposal including draft
(ASCII is fine) man page changes. Once there is consensus from the
core ZFS developer team I'll submit it to ARC for you.
