Hi Tim, that doesn't help in this case - it's a complete lockup apparently caused by driver issues.
However, the good news ofr Insom is that the bug is closed because the problem now appears fixed. I tested it and found that it's no longer occuring in OpenSolaris 2008.11 or 2009.06.
