Forgive the "silly questions" from the sidelines.....ignorance knows no
bounds apparently :)

There is no "defrag" facility since the zfs pool design naturally controls the degree of fragmentation. Zfs filesystems don't tend to "fall apart" like Windows FAT, or NTFS.
