And out of the last 4 x4240's I've ordered, two had to have new motherboards installed within a week, and one had to have a new power supply. The other appears to have a dvd rom drive going flaky. So the fact they're based on existing hardware isn't exactly confidence inspiring either. Sun's old sparc gear: rock solid. The newer x64 has been leaving a bad taste in my mouth TBQH. The engineering behind the systems when I open them up is absolutely phenomenal. The failure rate, however, is downright scary. --Tim
