I can't think of anything that would prevent you from doing so. More to the point, if you pull the drives from the current 280, stick them into the new 280, and give it a shot, you aren't going to hurt anything doing so. If you're really paranoid, issue a snapshot before you pull the drives and power down the system. --Tim
