I haven't followed all of the thread, but I might ask how sure you are 
that you didn't loosen RAM, had a fan die, or whatnot since nv90 worked. 
Have you tried to squeeze some Live-CD, be it OpenSolaris or Knoppix? 
How does everything behave when you boot the nv95 installer to console 
instead; just to exclude a problem with the graphics (card/driver)?
