You can keep track of some of the major updates through the flag days announcements: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/on/flag-days/all/ The separate ZIL log arrived in b68 (June 2007) and the L2ARC arrived in b78 (November 2007). Both will have made OpenSolaris 2008.05 which is based on b86. IIRC, Solaris 10u5 is based on b70.
