"format" gets me a list of just my system drive. "devfsadm -c disk" just spins for a second, but doesn't change anything found under format. "cfgadm" shows the following: App_Id Type Receptacle Occupant Condition sata0/0 sata-port empty unconfigured ok sata0/1 sata-port empty unconfigured ok sata0/2 sata-port empty unconfigured ok sata0/3 sata-port empty unconfigured ok Which looks somewhat promising -- from my un-tutored interpretation of that, it seems to knows there should be 4 SATA devices attached. Still -- nothing shows anything like the "c0t1d0" or similar. I may open the case back up and see if hooking a drive or two directly to the sata ports on the mobo (vs. the hotswap backplane) makes any difference...
