UFS == Ultimate File System ZFS == Zettabyte File System Perhaps you have these two confused? ZFS does not lay claim to being the ultimate file system. You can provide great benefit to society if you invent and implement a filesystem with all that ZFS offers, plus your remarkable ideas, provided that the result still provides the performance that users expect and there is sufficient storage space available.
