I keep my system synchronized to a USB disk from time to time. The script works by sending incremental snapshots to a pool on the USB disk, then deleting those snapshots from the source machine.
A botched script ended up deleting a snapshot that was not successfully received on the USB disk. Now, I've lost the ability to send incrementally since the intermediate snapshot is lost. From what I gather, if I try to send a full snapshot, it will require deleting and replacing the dataset on the USB disk. Is there any way around this?
