As I wrote several times in this thread, this kernel variable does not work in Sol 10u3. Probably not in u4 although I haven't tried it. I would like to run Sun Cluster 3.2, hence I must stick with u3 and cannot roll with the latest Nevada build or whatever. Options boil down to: 1) Live with NVRAM being un-utilized 2) Strip array controllers, go JBOD.
