A tasty insight - a million thanks!

I think if I get 2 quad-cores and 16Gb mem, I'd be able to stomach the 
overhead of 25%cpu and 25%mem going to the host - as the cost 
differential of have a dedicated SAN with another totally-redundant Xen 
box would be more expensive
