Hi, I would like to clarify one point for the forum experts on what I would like to do after it was brought to my attention that my posting might not describe a true picture of what I am trying to accomplish.
All I want to do is setup a separate zfs file system running Oracle on the machine running our vxfs file systems running Oracle on the same server so that I can compare ease of use, and efficiency. The instance would be a clone so that the volume of data and queries would be similar in size. All I am asking is if zfs and vxfs file systems can run simultaneously on the same server.
