Data Robotics has just introduced Drobo, the world’s first storage robot. Drobo is a direct attached storage array that provides fully automated storage that is very easy to use. Drobo attaches via USB 2.0, with no host software required.

Drobo combines up to 4 drives (SATA I or III) into a pool of protected storage (i.e. with the protection levels of RAID 5 but with none of the hassles of RAID).
