Hello Robert, Forget it, silly me.
Pool was mounted on one host, SVM metadevice was created on another host on the same disk at the same time and both hosts were issuing IOs. Once I corrected it I do no longer see CKSUM errors with ZFS on top of SVM and performance is similar. :))))))))))))))))))) I'm still wondering however why I'm getting only about 400MB/s of sequential writes while ~700MB/s of sequential reads to a stripe made of 85 FC disks.
