Pioneer Balloon is looking for someone to hire on an hourly basis to consult on Solaris x86, ZFS, Samba, and Active Directory integration.
The ideal candidate would have a few years of hands-on experience with Samba in a production environment using Active Directory, at least a few months of hands on experience with Solaris on an x86 platform, and experience configuring and troubleshooting ZFS. Some of the tasks that will need to be accomplished: - Determine why Samba file change notification isn't functional - Establish a configuration plan for exposing files to groups of users - Upgrade to newer versions of Samba as released - Enhance the scheduled snapshot functionality for ZFS - Troubleshoot client connectivity problems to samba - Provide ongoing configuration assistance as needed - Provide guidelines for upgrade procedures as new versions of samba and Solaris are released Qualified candidates should send a resume to eric[dot]hill[at]pioneerballoon[dot]com.
