on it is only $50 or so.  Assuming you don't need both pci slots for
other uses.

I personally wouldn't want to deal with "PC" hardware suppliers directly.
Putting together and maintaining those kinds of systems is a PITA.  The
$50 is worth it.  Assuming it will work.  Especially under the startup
program you're going to have as good or better prices from Sun, and
good support.
