Uh ... you do know that the second "S" in SAS stands for
"serial-attached SCSI", right? Native SATA is a subset
of native SAS, too. What I'm intrigued by is your assertion
that we should treat SAS the same way we treat FC.
Would you please expand upon this, because I'm really interested
in what your thoughts are..... since I work on Sun's SAS driver :)
I would also like to get some feedback on what you and others
would like to see for Sun's SAS support. Not guaranteeing
anything, but I'm happy to act as a channel to the relevant
people who have signoff on things like this.
