more general? If we have "events" like a library-call to "mkdir" or "change-dir" or "no open filedescriptors" or ünmount", then operator-predefined actions will be triggered. Actions like "zfs create <rulebased-name>", "take a snapshot" or "zsend on a snapshot" and others could be thought of.
