ZFS will detect the expanded LUN when it re-opens the device. There's
currently no way to automatically do this. However, if you do a 'zpool
online <pool> <device>', this will have the side effect of reopening the
device and should pick up the expanded size. If it doesn't, then please
let us know.

Hi Jaganraj,
As I recall, one of the projects that's still on the table
within the relevant team is lun expansion. I don't recall
any email (prior to being RIFfed) saying that the project
has reached integration yet. Until it does, you'll probably
have to reboot :(
