Momentarily forgot about the sucky single FC limit - I've become so used to calculating drive rate, which in this case would be 80MB/s per disk for modern 15K RPM FC or SCSI drives - then multiply by the 5 drives in a 6 drive RAID5/Z. We routinely get 950MB/s from 16 SATA disks on a single server with internal storage. We're getting 2,000 MB/s on 36 disks in an X4500 with ZFS. - Luke _______________________________________________ zfs-discuss mailing list zfs-discuss@opensolaris.org http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/zfs-discuss
