Dave Fisk and I spent some time evaluating Thumper and ZFS as part of the beta program. We collected tons of data and results that we fed back to Sun. I just blogged a short summary at http://perfcap.blogspot.com and we are waiting for the final performance fixes, and some spare time to do a retest...
