Hi Burton, Indeed, the luajit package contained the luajit.pc file as expected.
The issue was the _$PN appended to DEPENDS, when I removed it the build succeeded: changing DEPENDS_${PN} = "luajit" to DEPENDS = "luajit" did the trick.
