Hi, I kept investigating and it turns out that someone in my team had made a custom glibc-package.inc which changed the WORKDIR value, and I didn't know. That was all in the end.
I've modified this file to revert the change (we actually have both now, just in case they need it for something else) and the toolchain is working perfectly now.
