I thought we already use alex > 3, and this defaults to latest version 
released on Hackage.
I believe alex has unicode support since version 3.
I will look into it on weekend, because this looks like a bug in lexer, and 
such a bug shouldn't crash entire editor for sure ;-).

Maybe I could catch an exception somehow.
