What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. yi -fpango --as=emacs
2. Click in the drawing area of the *scratch* buffer, beyond the end of the
content
3. Try to type
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
After clicking, the cursor should be at the end of the input (it's actually
on the line after). After typing, the typed letters should be inserted into
the buffer (they aren't).
