New issue 350 by reiner.p...@gmail.com: Usability: minibuffer distanced from status bar makes suggested completions difficult to read
http://code.google.com/p/yi-editor/issues/detail?id=350

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. yi --as=emacs (optionally -fpango)
2. C-x 2
3. C-x o (so focus is on the top window)
4. C-x f

What happens?
A minibuffer for the find-file command opens at the bottom of the first window, i.e. in the middle of the screen. The suggested completions, however, are in the status bar at the bottom of the screen. This means that, to use the completions, you must look back and forth between the minibuffer and the status bar.

What would be better?
The minibuffer should appear just above the statusbar, i.e. at the bottom of the screen.
