Yi currently supports read-only buffers, so it looks like we just need to recognize when we are editing a read-only file.
I'm not sure how we currently handle files that change while we have them open, but we should definitely consider it. Vim offers to reopen the file from scratch (even if just the permissions change, I think); not sure what emacs does.
