I don't think that Dyre has anything to do with this one. Notice that the issue occurs at build time, not recompile time. I actually encountered this problem when I was working on testing Yi, and found it could be fixed by manually copying the instance declaration for PointedList into the source for 'Editor.hs' (with the appropriate qualifications, of course). That was just a workaround, of course, but it seemed to work just fine for my purposes.
