I think this fix breaks the Cocoa backend. HOC depends on the older Parsec,
as far as I can tell:
cabal: dependencies conflict: HOC-1.0 requires parsec ==2.1.0.1 however
parsec-2.1.0.1 was excluded because yi-0.4.4 requires parsec >=3 && <=3.0.2
