Steps to reproduce:
1. create an image
2. navigate to action tab and click on update metadata link
3. add a simple metadata
4. reopen the update image metadata modal
5. note that there's a JS error on Firebug
<input pattern='{$ ::ctrl.item.leaf.pattern $}'> because the pattern is not a
valid regexp: raw brace is not allowed in regular expression with unicode flag.
