Public bug reported: When launching an instance from Horizon, there is a "Configuration Drive" option under the "Advanced Options" tab. The option is disabled by default. A cloud deployer should be allowed to configure Horizon so that this option is enabled by default.
Background: The neutron metadata service does not support IPv6 (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/neutron/+bug/1460177). As a result, IPv6 only instances need to use config drive to access their metadata. Because of this, a cloud deployer may want config drive to be enabled by default in cloud environments supporting such instances. ** Affects: horizon Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Yahoo!
