sticky project selection with in progress instance tasks

Bug description:
- In project #1 I had a bunch of instances in various states of broken
and so had terminated them (again).
- From project #1's Instances page I switched to a different tenancy,
let's say project #2, the Overview page showed as expected.
- Then headed to project #2's Instances page, but unexpectedly ended
up back on project #1's Instance page.
- That behaviour continued until the previously terminated instances
in project #1 disappeared and I was then able to view Instances pages
in other projects again.
