Kelly Hilton proposed the following answer: Hey, To apply the conditional boundary condition, the classical method involves applying the same value to the degrees of freedom of the matching nodes on two opposite RVE sides. Thus, it requires a continuous mesh, with the same mesh splitting into two opposite parts of the RVE boundary.
