Vaclav created python-minieigen as a separate project [1]. It has been packaged and is waiting for approval in Debian new queue [2]. Hopefully it will be accepted soon.
Pygts is also in the same Debian queue [3]. Both packages are already available for Ubuntu on yade-users-external PPA for all versions, started, from 12.04 [4].
