The commands given under the links you provided work.
That is just fine so far.
However, typing long command lines every time I want to turn the touchpad ON/OFF is far from practical.

Unfortunately I could not yet find out how to add those commands to a launcher. All I am ever allowed to add to a launcher are programs already installed in the computer. Googling I found, that I am supposed to "create" some sort of script and then add that to the launcher.
I was not able to make that work either (yet).

Is there a tutorial on how to do that?
