Since we are debating about applications to add since there is space in the iso for a little extra, i would like to propose we add htop. While i think top should be included purely out of common knowledge of the application and the familiarity of many linux admins world wide (and i think it might be part of ubuntu-base). I have found that htop is much easier to read and use than top especially for the newer users and it automatically shows up in the applications menu under system once installed.
