Attempting to build X on Debian Buster install. Downloaded and built
freetype from freetype.org before building X. When running build.sh,
getting error:
...
checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes
checking for FREETYPE... no
checking for freetype-config... no
configure: error: You must have freetype installed; see
http://www.freetype.org/
build.sh: "./autogen.sh" failed on lib/libXfont
...
Evidently building freetype is not sufficient for building X. Any hints
as to what I have neglected to do?
