Hello all, In an effort to set proper licensing information within the FreeBSD port system, I submitted a bug report with a patch: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=230735#c3
As stated in the third comment of the report, I think I identified the licenses of all the *proto packages. However, COPYING-panoramixproto "is a stub file": > This package has not yet had its complete licensing > information compiled. Please see the individual source files for > details on your rights to use and modify this software. > > Please submit updated COPYING files to the Xorg bugzilla: > > https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=xorg > > All licensing questions regarding this software should be directed > at the Xorg mailing list: > > http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg The license included as header of panoramiXproto.h looks like a variant of MIT but I can not guarantee that other files (if any) provided by this package are licensed under MIT. Could you help me to sort this out? Best regards, Samy Mahmoudi
