Hi, for the records: after using the Intel driver for a while I removed the xorg.conf which I created to force the usage of the Intel driver, to see how it looks with current software.
Meanwhile, Gnome in Debian Sid just runs Xwayland and no Xorg anymore. And the dual head setup runs without tearing.
