Is there an option in the BIOS to disable or deprioritize the builtin gpu? Write down the keys required to reverse that action, (you may be able to reset defaults with a single F-key or key combo) then deprioritize or disable the builtin gpu and power-cycle it - not just reboot. If it still has no video, you'll need to enter the BIOS blind and reset it with the keys you wrote down. I have had to do a similar thing before myself to get an add in PCIE card to work correctly.
