Hi Yan, Are you sure your xscreensaver is built with PAM support? I'd suggest you first test out PAM with something else than LDAP, see for instance http://blog.bofh.it/debian/id_444 for some ideas. Finally, maybe http://ldots.org/ldap/ can be of help.
