xf86-input-mouse is the Xorg server mouse driver for non-evdev OS'es. This release drops support for Xorg 1.6.x, and now requires Xorg 1.7 or later. On Solaris, it fixes a compatibility issue with the Xorg 1.13 ABI changes, allowing this driver to build for the upcoming Xorg 1.13 release.
It also exposes "Device Node" (read-only), "Mouse Middle Button Emulation" (read-write) and "Mouse Middle Button Timeout" (read-write) properties via the Xinput properties API to allow distinguishing between multiple devices and controlling the 3rd button emulation options at runtime, without having to edit xorg.conf.d files and restart the server. Alan Coopersmith (9): sun_mouse.c: Remove redundant option checks Set XI_PROP_DEVICE_NODE property to string from "Device" option Set button & axis labels Add settable properties for middle mouse button emulation Strip trailing whitespace Expand tabs to spaces Raise bar for xorg-server to 1.7 for XINPUT ABI 7 Fix vuidMouseAdjustFrame to build with Xorg 1.13 ABI xf86-input-mouse 1.8.0 git tag: xf86-input-mouse-1.8.0 http://xorg.freedesktop.org/archive/individual/driver/xf86-input-mouse-1.8.0.tar.bz2 MD5: 126cd5dd471a38e0a13877202af6f112 SHA1: 2af7f4ea2dfa168dac369dad734969f4bb2a7c9e SHA256: 075fdc392e69b7aefae9f032785bb28e74fa45e865d2cfd67cdd6482580e3fdf http://xorg.freedesktop.org/archive/individual/driver/xf86-input-mouse-1.8.0.tar.gz MD5: 22178e6566f314862a1bccaa207f7eff SHA1: eb016daa6e974807ee363143ef8ee4fadc2abf2f SHA256: 3e978089a6226a0e5d6118c417e8c11a9095ddbac610da29e84de6e561c55a93 -- -Alan Coopersmith- alan.coopersm...@oracle.com Oracle Solaris Engineering - http://blogs.oracle.com/alanc
